Asbestos Law Conference Features Judges, Physicians, Litigators – and Erin Brockovich
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ — Judges from California, Illinois, New
York, and Pennsylvania are appearing on the faculty of the “Emerging Trends in
Asbestos Litigation Conference” scheduled for March 9-11, 2009 at The Four
Seasons in Beverly Hills. Noted environmental activist Erin Brockovich –
the subject of the award-winning movie bearing her name — will deliver the
keynote address.
The program is being presented by HB Litigation Conferences LLC, formerly
Mealey’s Conferences, and is being chaired by three attorneys who are well-
known in tort litigation circles: John Cooney of Cooney & Conway in Chicago,
Timothy Krippner of Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney in Chicago, and Perry
Weitz of Weitz & Luxenberg in New York.
On the judicial panel, moderated by Weitz and Krippner, are the Hon.
Daniel Stack, Madison County Circuit Court in Illinois; the Hon. Sandra Mazer
Moss, Philadelphia Common Pleas Court; the Hon. James McBride, San Francisco
Superior Court; and the Hon. Sherry Klein Heitler, New York Supreme Court,
